@DjRoddis What video is that is it on amazon or ebay ? Thankyou so much for your continued help.
@DjRoddis No, just the video that came out at the time.
is there a dvd of this series available ?
Thanks your a legend, even though ive always been a staunch supporter of all english sport teams and certainly was rooting for england in this series this was the series which made me fall in love with cricket as a 9 year old kid growing up in a london council estate, that Australian ashes team of 1993 was just special probable the greatest test team i ever sore they had an incrediable team spirit that matched their amazing skill, imagine if McGrath was in that team.
An early June start for an Ashes series in England is pretty early for todays standards.
I have read countless articles of this series and the battles in it like Warne and the BOC, Gooch’s confirmation of being the best opener during early 90’s.ineptness of Robin Smith agnst spin,Big Merv’s bowling ,Tim May’s classical off spin bowling ,AB’s 2nd and last 200 and finally Richie’s tongue in cheek comment “Contest” when RSmith bats agnst Warne but to see it all in video big thxs to u For gods sake live telecast was in its infancy during the early 90’s in India so thx rob for such gold
Dream ashes team of the last 15 years
Hayden
Slater
Ponting (vc)
M. Waugh
S. Waugh (c)
Hussey

Warne
Fleming
McGrath
S. Clark
MICHAEL SLATER!!! 🙂
Thanks Rob. That was great to watch. 🙂
@robelinda, Yes, because Rob is missing the last 4 issues of the Cover Point series, that being Summer ’01 to Spring ’02!
@damo24now Warnie still did pretty well in the 3 tests he did play in 2002/03!
@Gillysbiggestfan No review of 2001 exists. 1998/99 does, i’ll put it together one day.
Have you got a review of the 2001 series by any chance? Or the late 90s series in Australia?
warne brained them. but the only series he didn’t brain england was in 98/99 injured and 2002/03 injured
